327 - Jimmy Eat World gig

This is my favourite song of now:
"Invented" by Jimmy Eat World
When I first came to see you I called it Houston street (like the city)
Could we meet? Show me all the things you see?
I'm one more here
Some old-timer pioneer
Who believes with shaken faith
I still have some cool
I could leave you here with your 'people'
If I'm a flag you'd not prefer to wave
You're always in my head
You're just what I wanted
I live in constant debt
To feel you, invented
When I first came to LA I met you the old fashioned way
Too drunk
Even worse, much too lonely
I'll leave it there
A busted homesteader
Who believes in virgin grace
Somehow I'll stay proud
Any dick can roll up in a suit
But only I would know what really moves you
You're always in my head
You're just what I wanted
I live in constant debt
To feel you, invented
There's a cinematic end
I picture it just right
Having trouble with the right words
But you tell me with your eyes
There's something good I miss
Something I cant' find
Do you believe me now?
Can you see it in my eyes?
You're always in my head
You're just what I wanted
I live in constant debt
To feel you, invented

Baby, You're A Firework

I'm probably going to spend £50 on a ticket to see Katy Perry live.
Lovelovelovelovelove her song 'Firework'. & pretty much the whole of her "Teenage Dream" album.

When a song gets inside of your heart

Every Thursday I go to Street Dance class.

Last week, after the class had danced solidly for 55 minutes, our dance teacher put on a slow song for the cool down. At the time, I didn't know what the song was but I knew as soon as I had heard the first 8 beats that I loved it. I took mental note of the lyrics so that I could google it later.
The song, it turns out, is called "Superhuman" and it is sung by Chris 'I hit Women' Brown and Keri Hilson.
It's my favourite song of right now and I am listening to it on loop every day.

"You've changed my whole life.
You don't know what you're doing
to me with your love..."

Listen to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zY8qQNqzShs

Chris Brown is clearly a douchebag because he is a wife beater, but how can a wifebeater produce a song as beautiful as this?
